Obedience

We offer three levels of obedience classes - all of them are fun! We use motivation rather than constant negative reinforcement and help you build the relationship with your dogs (and tire them out).

Basic Obedience

If you just start out with your dog, no matter how old the dog, the basic class is the right class for you. It is an 8-week primer and includes socialization with other dogs and people, focus of the dog despite distractions, work on heeling, basic obedience like sit, stay, down and recall and more! This class has a start and end date and the first session will be without your dog at our office where we talk about how we train, what training aids we use, answer your questions and go through the first steps.

The 8-week obedience class is scheduled on Saturdays, 10am at the Greenbriar Park in Brea and on Wednesdays, 6:30pm at Falco K9 Academy Field. Cost is USD 250 and the class includes a training manual.

Intermediate Obedience

If you already have your basics down, you may be right for our intermediate class. We extend the basic obedience with useful commands like motion exercises (sit and down in motion), start with off leash obedience and long down stays, all while really put those basics in concrete and strengthen the relationship with your dog. Our Intermediate Class is an on-going class which means that you can drop in any date.

Classes are scheduled on Saturdays, 9am at the Greenbriar Park in Brea and on Wednesdays, 7:30pm at Falco K9 Academy Field. Cost is USD 25 for a single session or USD 90 for 4 sessions.

Advanced Obedience

Our Advanced Obedience class gears toward the CGC (AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification) and the BH class. We work with more distractions, do off leash heeling through groups of people, use hand commands and start more sophisticated commands like stand. This is also an on-going class where you can drop in any date.

Pre-requisite: Successfully passed intermediate level test

Classes are scheduled on Saturdays, 9am at the Greenbriar Park in Brea. Cost is USD 25 for a single session or USD 90 for 4 sessions.
